Tarot by Kimberly Freeman Niyogi

Tarot (tar-oh) is a pictorial representation of the human story...your story, my story, the story of life since the beginning. At this particular moment in time, you are taking part in a particular 'chapter' of that story: be it a chapter of happiness, loss, triumph, or danger. When you approach the cards for a reading, your energy is transferred to them via vibration, and your story is told. As the reader, I interpret the cards, with emphasis on where you are headed with these energies if you don't change anything.

The whole point, of course, is for the reading to make you more aware of your situation, and provide insight into how you can change your future, if you desire. Nothing in life is 'fated' unless you travel through in a state of ignorance--avoiding choices, acting without consciousness. To approach the Tarot is to approach the Universal Source of all things so that you may use the knowledge to improve your life and the lives of others.
